Premium aluminum oxide mineral is blended with ceramic grain for a full range of automotive sanding jobs. A specially designed multi-hole pattern captures dust reduces loading and extends sheet life. Perforated Hookit™ sheets are easily sized to reduce product waste. 3M Hookit sanding sheet roll uses ceramic aluminum oxide as the abrasive material. 3M incorporates this ceramic aluminum oxide material into the sanding sheet roll forming a grit of 400. The hook & loop attachment allows for easy mounting to the tool or pad. The sanding sheet roll has a width of 2.75 in and length of 13 yd. Specification parameters description: Grit: Grit is a measurement of the size of abrasive particles embedded in coated abrasives. The most common standards for grit size are the United States CAMI (Coated Abrasive Manufacturers Institute) and the European FEPA (Federation of European Producers of Abrasives).
